Chet Cooper
Hello, my name is Chet Cooper and I am the pastor at Sunnyview Christian Church. In early 2020, my wife Jill and I moved from the western part of the state, and we now live in Neenah, WI. Jill and I were married in 1992 and we have two grown children. We enjoy many outdoor activities including camping and hiking. We are involved in our church’s youth camp as well as missions. Our goal is to have a heart for people as Jesus does.
In my pre-teen years, I gave my life to Jesus. Later, I attended Minnesota Bible College and graduated with a Pastoral Ministry degree. After graduating, I chose not to enter ministry right away. I spent 25 years “in the wilderness” working a variety of jobs. God used this time to teach me compassion and forgiveness; and show me humility and my own need to rely on Him alone. During this time I was an active member in several churches. It was not until 2020, that God called me to this, my first full time pastor position. I am here by the grace of God alone, and I bear witness to a Savior who is faithful, and to a Savior who desires a relationship with us all. We hope that you will visit us and find our church family to be welcoming and fulfilling our call to love God and to love our neighbors.
